Routing test
Pick a device to see who is notified for each button stage, then send a live test alert (test mode only — connected apps show “ALARM TEST”).

People & linked devices
Group laptops/phones under one staff member. Proximity mode alerts one active desktop per person; mobile devices stay on the move.
Device groups (same location)
Computers in the same room or suite that should count as one device for routing rules — only one receives each alert, and a press on any member matches rules for the whole group.
Alert routing rules
Rules run in order. Each row is one IF … THEN ALERT rule. Target individual devices, device groups, first-responder lists, or the whole school.

Smart proximity routing
After normal IF/THEN rules pick candidates, optionally narrow to nearby responders. Mobile devices and the on-call team for the alert building are always included (when enabled).
0 = no limit (still applies distance filter if set)
0 = no distance limit — closest-first only
On-call teams (optional)
Assign connected devices to on-call teams. Building and people are optional — used only to narrow who receives pings or first-responder rules.
Button & hold sequence
How staff trigger an alert. Stages marked auto fire when their timer completes.
Legacy tap gestures (optional)

Default server for all Blue Button apps. Saved here and pushed to connected devices immediately; others pick it up on next launch or config refresh.
